I'd expect the present dropping to be implemented in 3 hours, 8pm gmt, since thats when everything else was implemented.

Peppermint Candy Cane

Collectable item: has only one use. Double-click to remove all Death Penalty. This item cannot be used in PvP. They also provide 1 point towards sweet tooth title track.

They are a random reward from a Wintersday Gift (See below), or can be gained from collectors.
You say that pepermint candy cane can be obtain from collectors? who? This was only available form collectors the first year, not anymore, form what I remember.

I'm with you Saraphim, I thought the Secret Lair of the Snowmen quests were repeatable too. Couldn't figure out why I couldn't get the quest again after I completed it.

You can't get peppermint CCs from collectors only from wintersdays day gifts or from Winterdsay Chest as far as I know.

0, they don't give lucky points until the finale, and even then its a very small number.

OK, I think I figured it out, all the rift warden quests are repeatable but you can't have them all active at the same time. If you abandon all the rift warden quests you have in your quest log, then speak with him, he will offer you all of them again.

I think it's like the Snowman dungeon, you may need to re-zone. I abandoned the other active quest (from Grenth's side) and it still wouldn't come up at the rift warden, but when I logged back in a little later it was available again, even though I'd cashed the quest in before logging out.

Edited for typos.... sheesh I haven't even started drinking yet. >.>

that grenth quest where you are in secret lair of the snowmen is BEASTLY HARD. first of all, the grenches are no help whatsoever unless you run straight into a group of snowmen so they will attack em, plus they die mad fast. ice traps are no fun either, especially when trying to run away so you dont DIE and have to restart. one thing i will say is that this quest is a great way to get shards. they drop much more often there. i managed to get about 30-40, and i only made it to freezie -.-

back on topic, nice guide! i think you should throw in that whole "dwayna districts=even, grenth districts=odd" thing to help us all get that dead sexy ice crown again, great work!

Rift Warden quests are repeatble, but you need to zone. Also, taking the Dwayna quest excludes you from taking the Grenth quest until you complete or abandon it (and vice versa).

The Wintersday Chest can apparently drop any Winteritem, including Peppermint and Rainbow CC, so sorry about the previous misinformation (had only gotten those 5 myself and Wiki only listed those as well at the time).

Finally, I think the CC weapon crafters were added today, as I don't recall them being there yesterday.

Well your right and your wrong.

It was only from collectors the first year, and in the following event it was possible to get it from another source. I don't know if I wanna let everyone know :P

ok ok in the present running in LA, if you gave a present to Scrappy jhim (Sp) he would reward you with a present, that could contain PCC's

the gifts given by the collector in exchange for 5 cc shards can also give peppermint canes.

The point gain is very small, as i previously stated, and if im correct the games last till one side gains 500, although that number may be wrong.

They go on for a certain amount of time IIRC. I think someone posted screens of how they had 1337 points while the other 0 at one point in the game. Last year was 3 rounds of 5 games each, so 15 games in total. I'm not sure how many points you get on those rings, but I don't think it's worth it to be standing there for your lucky title.

How does the 9 ring game work on the first? is there only one game at each of those times(will you only need 1 shard for each time) or are there more than one games played at those times?

On January 1st, every 3 hours there will be a Dwayna vs Grenth Finale.
This finale is composed of a series of "9 Rings" games, 3 rounds per Finale, 5 games per round, for a total of 15 games.
To participate in this game, you must stand on one of the 9 rings on either side and have 1 Candy Cane Shards per round (so 15 needed to participate in all games).
The amount of shards won on each round determines the score for each God at the end of the Finale, and players all over the district are awarded with the hat of the winning God. After that, it also starts to rain customised Wintersday Gifts (everyone gets the same amount, though you can also take those of people who left the district).

That was the case last year anyway.
